Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Presales Engineer cum Business Analyst to support our sales team in delivering tailored software solutions within the AIDC (Auto ID and Data Capture) domain.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between customers, sales, and technical teams — understanding business requirements, designing solution approaches, and supporting upselling and cross-selling of software and technology solutions such as RFID, Barcode, Asset Tracking, WMS, Mobility, and ERP integrations.
Key–Responsibilities:
1. Presales & Customer Engagement
- Engage with customers to understand business processes, operational challenges, and technical requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare functional requirement documents (FRD).
- Provide solution demonstrations (RFID, Barcode, Asset Tracking, WMS, etc.).
- Assist sales team during client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and technical proposals with detailed solution descriptions.
- Prepare technical solution architecture, scope documents, and estimations.
2. Business Analysis
- Analyze current customer workflows and identify automation opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
- Prepare use case documents, process flows, and gap analysis reports.
- Coordinate with technical team to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with requirements.
- Support UAT processes and ensure solution acceptance from client side.
3. Upselling & Cross-Selling Support
- Identify opportunities for additional modules, integrations, or technology upgrades.
- Propose value-added solutions such as RFID-based tracking, mobility solutions, analytics dashboards, etc.
- Work closely with sales to position solutions strategically.
4. Documentation & Coordination
- Prepare solution documents, presentations, and demo environments.
- Coordinate with product and implementation teams.
- Maintain strong follow-ups with customers during pre-sales lifecycle
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of AIDC technologies (RFID, Barcode, Handheld Terminals, Asset Tracking).
- Knowledge of enterprise software solutions (WMS, ERP integration, inventory systems).
- Ability to understand APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Experience in preparing technical proposals and functional documents.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of business process mapping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT.
- 3–4 years of experience in Presales, Business Analysis, or Solution Consulting.
- Experience in the Middle East market (preferably Qatar) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of RFID-based solutions is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise clients in logistics, retail, manufacturing, or banking.
